Irish Pancakes 

  • Ingredients:

250g flour
250 ml of buttermilk
2 teaspoons baking soda
2 teaspoons powdered sugar
1 teaspoons salt
1 egg

  • Preparation:

1. In a bowl mix the flour with the baking soda and the salt.
2. Make a well in the centre and add the egg.
3. Then add the buttermilk and stir until results a thick paste, still liquid but homogeneous. Add
more milk if necessary.
4. Heat a skillet and pour a ladle of dough. Cook on both sides.
5. Serve hot with maple syrup, golden syrup, jam or any other garnish of your choice.
