200g butter, softened
110g of powdered sugar
300g of flour
½ teaspoon of salt
- Preheat the oven to 150 degrees.
- In a bowl mix the butter, salt and flour by hand.
- Add the sugar, and knead until you have a short pastry.
- On a floured work surface, spread the dough to a thickness of 1cm maximum.
- Cut rectangles into the dough and place them on a tray covered with parchment paper and buttered.
- Bake 30 minutes, and serve warm, with a good Irish tea!
