The Easter break is around the corner and, if you don’t have plans already and looking for somewhere special to spend your Easter Sunday, here are our top 5 recommendations lined up for you!

1 Library Restaurant @BelleekCastle in Ballina is the perfect place to experience the elaborate 2AA Rosette cuisine. (In case you don’t know what the 2AA Rosette cuisine means, it’s like 2 Michelin stars, but just offered by The AA – and that’s pretty awesome! This place was also awarded the best Best Restaurant in Connaught and the Best Customer Service in Mayo & Connaught at the Irish Restaurant Awards! So, prepare for a treat here.
Belleek Castle will be hosting Easter Sunday Lunch at the Library Restaurant on 1st of April 2018. They will be serving an excellent 3 course dinner menu for €35 per person & €12.50 for children with sittings at 1pm & 3pm on Easter Sunday. Experience some excellent modern Irish cuisine from one of the best restaurants in Connaught.

2 Indian must be the most aromatic cuisine in the world. It’s an art in mixing cardamom, turmeric, ginger and other such spices to make our taste buds sing!
There is a lush South Indian style chicken curry with fluffy basmati rice, chota naan bread and kashmere mango chutney to try at The Mayfly Hotel‏ @mayfly_hotel in county Mayo. Packed full of spices, flavour and an abundance of herbs it’s definitely worth the visit.

3 Now, take a deep breath and get ready for this! Stone bass, foraged sea beat, cockles, pickled beetroot from Luffany Mooncoin – @mooncoinbeetro1, soft cheese from @CordalCheese, whey foam, chervil and wild garlic. Delicate, sophisticated – mounthwatering flavours! You can try it at the Croi restaurant, in Trallee – @croitralee

4 Looking for good food and also for a good deal? What about the Sunday’s all-day dining options at the The Moorings‏ @MooringsBBar Bar, Restaurant and Guesthouse in Portmagee? Enjoy a €5 voucher that can be redeemed till the 29th of April any given Sun on dining over €30.

5 And of course, we need something sweet at the end. Now, the Brasserie On The Corner‏ @BrasserieGalway sais it’s nothing their Sticky Toffee Pudding can’t fix. All desserts are made fresh, in house daily by their expert culinary team…and yes… they taste even better than they look. Is that even possible? We just have to try and see 😊
