Ready for the parade and the Paddy’s Day Party? Below, just a few places we recommend, to make sure your day will be perfect (or close to perfect )
1 Paddy Coynes Pub in Galway – New on their menu is an amazing BBQ pulled pork spring rolls. YUM. Serving food from 5pm.
2 This Thursday the 15th of March, Waterfront Restaurant opened their doors. A must, if you’re in Enniscrone. Best of luck to them 😊. For this long weekend, a place to be for an early bird or a proper dinner. And check their Faceboook page, they have some competitions as well.
3 Looking for a drink and relaxation. Capones in Galway is always a good spot. On Thursday, for example, they just had a Jazz night. It’s a great way to spend your evenings 🕺🎶🎷
They have an Irish Mojito for only €6 and many other cocktails to help celebrate Paddy’s Day and Ireland’s Triumph in the Six Nations! With finger food at half time for all guests watching the match and a pint of Guinness €4! Can’t wait!
4 Family day with kids? We got you sorted. As part of The Village Salthill Family Fun Day this Saturday, March 17th, there will be some super children’s entertainment, including MollyLu’s Circus Skills Workshop from 3.30pm to 5.30pm. In addition, there will be a Character Walk-About and Street Entertainment from 2pm to 3pm and again from 5.30pm to 6pm, with Lady Patrick looking forward to meeting all the little ones on the day.
There will also be musical entertainment and dancing on the stage and it promises to be a great day out for all the family. It’s the inaugural Family Fun Day from 12noon to 6pm.
Please note, a Road Closure will be in place from the Seapoint Roundabout to The Galleon at Monksfield. Traffic diversions will be in place. Don’t forget you have The Galleon Restaurant close by.
